Ruth Kasckow

Ruth Kasckow is a Los Angeles–based flutist, teacher, Licensed Body Mapping Educator, and Franklin Method Educator, Level 4. Her teaching integrates anatomy, movement, and musical artistry to help musicians develop greater ease, efficiency, and expressive freedom in their playing. She teaches the workshop Playing Flute from the Inside Out, exploring the relationship between anatomy, movement, and flute playing. She has presented workshops for the National Flute Association, Performing Arts Medicine Association, and Harmonics International Conference on Music, Medicine, and the Brain, and performs with the Kasckow-Pezzone Duo and other chamber music ensembles.
