Mafer Guglielmina

Peruvian flutist Mafer Guglielmina is the newly-appointed assistant professor of flute at the University of Texas at El Paso. A versatile and sought-after performer and educator, she has recently presented at the Eastern Iowa Flute Workshop, NFA Convention, Venezuelan Festival de Flauta Manuel Guadalajara, Flautistas del Perú, and Festival Internacional de Flautistas in Lima, Peru. An advocate of performance and research of Latin American music, Guglielmina holds degrees from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, The Pennsylvania State University and Western Michigan University.
