Edward Cipullo

Edward J. Cipullo is a flutemaker based in Boston, MA, who has worked at the Von Huene Workshop since 2016 making recorders and flutes based on historical designs. He studied art history at University of Massachusetts – Amherst and continued with Von Huene after graduating in 2020, focusing mostly on baroque flutes. Parallel to von Huene, he makes and designs baroque flutes on his own and on commission, with an interest in exploring the integration of modern and personal perspectives into the design of historically-inspired instruments.
