Walfrid Kujala
Flutist Walfrid Kujala was a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1954 to 2001 and professor of flute at Northwestern University from 1962 to 2012. He is the author of numerous books, including The Flutist’s Progress and The Flutist’s Vade Mecum of Scales, Arpeggios, Trills and Fingering Technique. He is the recipient of numerous career accolades, including the NFA’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
